चिंतयानो दिवानक्तं ब्राह्मणान्प्रति तत्सदा । कथं तेषां द्विजेंद्राणामुपकारो भविष्यति । मदीयो मम यैर्दत्तं गात्रमेतत्पुनर्नवम्
ciṃtayāno divānaktaṃ brāhmaṇānprati tatsadā | kathaṃ teṣāṃ dvijeṃdrāṇāmupakāro bhaviṣyati | madīyo mama yairdattaṃ gātrametatpunarnavam
అతడు పగలు-రాత్రి నిరంతరం ఆ బ్రాహ్మణులను తలచుచూ—“నా ఈ దేహాన్ని మళ్లీ నూతనంగా ప్రసాదించిన ఆ ద్విజేంద్రులకు నేను ఏ విధంగా ఉపకారం చేయగలను?” అని ఆలోచించెను.
