वितानं ये प्रयच्छति नराः सुकृतिनोपि हि । तारयति कुलं कृत्स्नं शिवलोकं गताः पुनः
vitānaṃ ye prayacchati narāḥ sukṛtinopi hi | tārayati kulaṃ kṛtsnaṃ śivalokaṃ gatāḥ punaḥ
పుణ్యవంతులైన వారు విటానం (ఛత్రం/మండపావరణం) దానం చేస్తే, వారు తమ సమస్త కులాన్ని తరింపజేస్తారు; శివలోకానికి వెళ్లి మళ్లీ తమ కులానికి త్రాతలుగా నిలుస్తారు।
