कार्त्तिकेयस्ततः शक्त्या निचकर्त रिपोः शिरः । तच्छिरो निपपातोर्व्यां तारकस्य च तत्क्षणात् । एवं स जयमापेदे कार्त्तिकेयो महाप्रभुः
kārttikeyastataḥ śaktyā nicakarta ripoḥ śiraḥ | tacchiro nipapātorvyāṃ tārakasya ca tatkṣaṇāt | evaṃ sa jayamāpede kārttikeyo mahāprabhuḥ
అప్పుడు కార్త్తికేయుడు తన శక్తి (వేల)తో శత్రువు శిరస్సును ఛేదించాడు. అదే క్షణంలో తారకుని శిరస్సు భూమిపై పడిపోయింది. ఈ విధంగా మహాప్రభువు కార్త్తికేయుడు విజయాన్ని పొందాడు.
