etasminnaṃtare tatra gargo vākyamabhāṣata | pāṇigrahārthaṃ śaṃbhuṃ ca ānayadhvaṃ svamaṃdiram | tvaritenaiva velāyāmasyāmeva vicakṣaṇāḥ
Garga (as named in the verse)
Tirtha: Kedāra-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: Sage Garga, authoritative and calm, addresses attendants: ‘Bring Śambhu for the hand-taking rite—quickly, at this auspicious time.’ The scene is charged with purposeful movement.
All auspicious rites attain fullness when centered on Śiva; right timing and wise action support dharma.
The Kedāra sacred milieu is the setting, framing the event within Kedārakhaṇḍa’s Mahātmya.
Pāṇigraha (marriage hand-taking) is explicitly mentioned, along with the instruction to invite Śambhu promptly.
