देवा ऊचुः । मदनद्वं समर्थोसि अस्माञ्जेतुं सदैव हि । महेशं प्रति गच्छाशु सुरकार्यार्थसिद्धये । पार्वत्या सहितं शंभुं कुरुष्वाद्य महामते
devā ūcuḥ | madanadvaṃ samarthosi asmāñjetuṃ sadaiva hi | maheśaṃ prati gacchāśu surakāryārthasiddhaye | pārvatyā sahitaṃ śaṃbhuṃ kuruṣvādya mahāmate
దేవులు పలికిరి—ఓ మదనా! నీవు ఎల్లప్పుడూ మమ్మల్నికూడా జయించగల సమర్థుడవు. దేవకార్యసిద్ధికై త్వరగా మహేశుని వద్దకు వెళ్లు. ఓ మహామతీ! ఈ రోజే పార్వతితో కూడిన శంభువును వశపరచు.
