chidyatāṃ sūtradhāreṇa vidyāparaśunādhunā | bhajāmi tava śiṣyo'haṃ varivasyāparaściram

ఇప్పుడు సూత్రధారుడు (మార్గదర్శి) చేత, విద్య అనే పరశువుతో ఈ బంధం ఛేదింపబడుగాక. నేను మీ శిష్యుడిగా మీ శరణు పొందుతున్నాను; చాలా కాలం నేను కేవలం బాహ్య వరివస్య (పూజా-సేవ)లోనే ఉన్నాను, ఉన్నత సాధనలో కాదు.
