अयुक्तमेतद्भीष्माद्यैः प्रतिज्ञातं युधिष्ठिर । ततो जये च विजये निश्चयो हि मृषैव तत्

Transliteration

ayuktametadbhīṣmādyaiḥ pratijñātaṃ yudhiṣṭhira | tato jaye ca vijaye niścayo hi mṛṣaiva tat

Translation

ఓ యుధిష్ఠిరా, భీష్మాది వారు చేసిన ఈ ప్రతిజ్ఞ యుక్తమైనది కాదు. అందుచేత జయం గానీ పరాజయం గానీ అనే నిశ్చయం నిజంగా మిథ్యే.
