मुष्टिभिः पार्ष्णिघातैश्च जानुभिश्चाभिजघ्नतुः । ततो मुहूर्तात्कौरव्यः पर्यहीयत पांडवः
muṣṭibhiḥ pārṣṇighātaiśca jānubhiścābhijaghnatuḥ | tato muhūrtātkauravyaḥ paryahīyata pāṃḍavaḥ
వారు ముష్టులతో, మడమల దెబ్బలతో, మోకాళ్లతో పరస్పరం కొట్టుకున్నారు. కొద్దిసేపటిలోనే కౌరవుడు పైచేయి సాధించగా, పాండవుడు క్షీణించసాగాడు.
