taṃ gatukāmamāhedamabhinaṃdya janārdanaḥ | kathākathanakāle māṃ smarethāstvaṃ jayāvaham

Translation

అతడు బయలుదేరాలని ఉత్సుకుడై ఉన్నాడని చూసి జనార్దనుడు అభినందించి ఇలా అన్నాడు—“కథను చెప్పే సమయంలో నన్ను స్మరించు; నేను జయాన్ని ప్రసాదించువాడను.”
