स्तंभतीर्थमिति ख्यातं स्तम्भो गर्वः कृतो यतः । स्तंभस्य हि फलं सद्यो ब्रह्मापि प्राप किं परः
staṃbhatīrthamiti khyātaṃ stambho garvaḥ kṛto yataḥ | staṃbhasya hi phalaṃ sadyo brahmāpi prāpa kiṃ paraḥ
ఇది ‘స్తంభతీర్థం’గా ప్రసిద్ధి చెందును; ఎందుకంటే అక్కడ గర్వాన్ని ‘స్తంభం’గా నిలిపారు. దర్పఫలం వెంటనే వస్తుంది—బ్రహ్మకే వచ్చిందంటే, మరెవరి సంగతి ఏమి.
