ఇట్లు శ్రీ స్కంద మహాపురాణంలోని ఏకాశీతిసాహస్రీ సంహితలో, ప్రథమ మాహేశ్వరఖండంలోని కౌమారికాఖండంలో “నీలకంఠ మహాత్మ్య వర్ణనం” అనే యాభై ఏడవ అధ్యాయం సమాప్తమైంది।
