śaktyā dvijānāṃ deyaṃ ca chatraṃ dhotraṃ kamaṃḍalum | praṇamya brāhmaṇānbhaktyā nāradaḥ prīyatāmiti

యథాశక్తి ద్విజులకు ఛత్రం, వస్త్రం, కమండలువును దానం చేయవలెను. భక్తితో బ్రాహ్మణులకు నమస్కరించి—“నారదముని ప్రసన్నుడగునుగాక” అని పలకవలెను.
