धर्मे दद्यात्पशून्वृद्धान्पुष्यादेषा कृषिः कुतः । सारमेतत्कृषेस्तेन नंदभद्रेण चादृतम्

Transliteration

dharme dadyātpaśūnvṛddhānpuṣyādeṣā kṛṣiḥ kutaḥ | sārametatkṛṣestena naṃdabhadreṇa cādṛtam

Translation

ధర్మార్థంగా వృద్ధ పశువులను దానం చేయాలి; అప్పుడు పాపభారం లేకుండా వ్యవసాయం నిజంగా ఎలా వర్ధిల్లుతుంది? ఇదే కృషి యొక్క సారం; నందభద్రుడు దీనిని గౌరవించి నిలిపాడు।
