मन्यंते भ्रूणहत्यापि विशिष्टा नास्य कर्मणः । अघ्न्या इति गवां नाम श्रुतौ ताः पीडयेत्कथम्

Transliteration

manyaṃte bhrūṇahatyāpi viśiṣṭā nāsya karmaṇaḥ | aghnyā iti gavāṃ nāma śrutau tāḥ pīḍayetkatham

Translation

వారి దృష్టిలో అతని ఈ కర్మకన్నా భ్రూణహత్య కూడా తక్కువ పాపమని భావిస్తారు. శ్రుతిలో గోవులకు ‘అఘ్న్యా’—అంటే ‘హింసించరానివి’—అని పేరు; మరి వాటిని ఎలా బాధించగలం?
