तीर्थस्नानैस्तपोभिर्वा दुष्टात्मा नैव शुध्यति । स्वेदितः क्षालितस्तीर्थे किं शुद्धिमधिगच्छति

tīrthasnānaistapobhirvā duṣṭātmā naiva śudhyati | sveditaḥ kṣālitastīrthe kiṃ śuddhimadhigacchati

తీర్థస్నానములచేత గానీ తపస్సుచేత గానీ దుష్టాత్ముడు శుద్ధి పొందడు. తీర్థంలో కేవలం చెమటపట్టి కడుగుకున్నంత మాత్రాన ఏ శుద్ధి లభిస్తుంది?
