शुचित्वं च जपं स्थाणुं यः कुर्याद्विंशतिं तथा । माहेश्वरः स विज्ञेयः शेषोन्यो नामधारकः
śucitvaṃ ca japaṃ sthāṇuṃ yaḥ kuryādviṃśatiṃ tathā | māheśvaraḥ sa vijñeyaḥ śeṣonyo nāmadhārakaḥ
శుచిత్వమును కాపాడుతూ స్థాణు (శివ) జపమును విధివిధానంగా ఇరవైసార్లు చేయువాడు నిజమైన మాహేశ్వరుడని తెలిసికొనవలెను; మిగిలినవారు కేవలం నామధారకులు।
