क्लेशेन कृत्वा कूपं वा स च क्षारोदको वृथा । बहुक्लेशैर्जन्म नीतं विना धर्मं तथा वृथा
kleśena kṛtvā kūpaṃ vā sa ca kṣārodako vṛthā | bahukleśairjanma nītaṃ vinā dharmaṃ tathā vṛthā
ఎంతో శ్రమించి బావి తవ్వినా దాని నీరు ఉప్పగా ఉంటే ఆ శ్రమ వ్యర్థం. అలాగే అనేక కష్టాలతో గడిచిన జీవితం కూడా, ధర్మం లేకుంటే వ్యర్థమే.
