षंडगानीति चोक्तानि द्वौ च पाकावतः श्रृणु । द्वौ पाकौ दानजौ प्राहुः परत्राथ त्विहोच्यते
ṣaṃḍagānīti coktāni dvau ca pākāvataḥ śrṛṇu | dvau pākau dānajau prāhuḥ paratrātha tvihocyate
ఇలా ‘షడంగాలు’ చెప్పబడినవి; ఇప్పుడు ‘రెండు పాకాలు’ (ఫలపరిణామాలు) వినుము. ఋషులు దానమువలన రెండు పాకాలు కలుగుతాయని చెప్తారు—ఒకటి పరలోకంలో, మరొకటి ఇహలోకంలోనే.
