संसदि व्रीडयाऽश्रुत्य आर्थिभ्यः प्रददाति च । प्रतिदीयते च यद्दानं व्रीडादानमिति श्रुतम्
saṃsadi vrīḍayā'śrutya ārthibhyaḥ pradadāti ca | pratidīyate ca yaddānaṃ vrīḍādānamiti śrutam
సభలో లజ్జచేత, అపవాదభయంతో యాచకులకు ఇచ్చే దానం, అలాగే ప్రతిగా తిరిగి ఇచ్చిపుచ్చుకునే దానం—ఇది ‘వ్రీడాదానం’ అని ప్రసిద్ధం।
