lakṣadvādaśasāhasraṣaṇnavatyadhikāḥ parāḥ | aṣṭau lakṣāścatuḥṣaṣṭisahasrāṇi ca dvāparaḥ

త్రేతా యుగము పన్నెండు లక్షలు తొంభై ఆరు వేల సంవత్సరాలు, అదనంగా వెయ్యి సంవత్సరాలు అని చెప్పబడింది; ద్వాపర యుగము ఎనిమిది లక్షలు అరవై నాలుగు వేల సంవత్సరాలు (మనుష్య ప్రమాణమున).
