గుహుడు (స్కందుడు) అక్కడ ఒక బావిని నిర్మించాడు; దాని అడుగునుండి గంగా ప్రదర్శితమైంది. అలాగే మాఘ మాస కృష్ణపక్ష చతుర్దశినాడు అక్కడ పితృతర్పణం చేయవలెను।
