तदेंद्रो वज्रमुत्सृज्य प्रांजलिः शरणं ययौ । तस्याभयं ददौ स्कंदः सहसैन्यस्य सत्तमः
tadeṃdro vajramutsṛjya prāṃjaliḥ śaraṇaṃ yayau | tasyābhayaṃ dadau skaṃdaḥ sahasainyasya sattamaḥ
అప్పుడు ఇంద్రుడు వజ్రాన్ని విడిచి, అంజలి ఘటించి శరణు కోరాడు. సేనాధిపతుల్లో శ్రేష్ఠుడైన స్కందుడు అతనికి అభయాన్ని ప్రసాదించాడు।
