vaktumicchuḥ śailaputrīṃ sakhībhiriti coditaḥ | brahmanniyaṃ mahābhāgā gṛhītaniyamā śubhā

Translation

పర్వతపుత్రితో మాట్లాడాలని కోరుతూ, సఖుల ప్రేరణతో అతనితో ఇలా అన్నారు— “ఓ బ్రాహ్మణా! ఈ మహాభాగ్యశాలిని శుభమయి దేవి నియమవ్రతాన్ని స్వీకరించింది.”
