tato jaladharairvyoma sphuradvidyullatākulaiḥ | gaṃbhīrākṣasamādhāraiścābhyapūryata modinī

తదుపరి ఆకాశం మెరుపు తీగలతో నిండిన జలధర మేఘాలతో కిటకిటలాడెను; గంభీర గర్జనతో కూడిన ఘోర వర్షధారలచే మోదినీ (భూమి) ముంచెత్తబడెను।
