नारद उवाच । कालनेमी रुषाविष्टस्तेषां रूपं न बुद्धवान् । ततो निमिं च दैत्येन्द्रं मत्वा देवं महाजवः
nārada uvāca | kālanemī ruṣāviṣṭasteṣāṃ rūpaṃ na buddhavān | tato nimiṃ ca daityendraṃ matvā devaṃ mahājavaḥ
నారదుడు పలికెను—క్రోధావేశంతో కాలనేమి వారి నిజరూపాన్ని గ్రహించలేదు. అప్పుడు దైత్యేంద్రుడైన నిమిని దేవుడని భావించి ఆ మహావేగుడు ముందుకు దూకెను।
