तामापतंतीं संप्रेक्ष्य गदां महिषवाहनः । गदायाः प्रतिघातार्थं जगज्ज्वलनभैरवम्
Transliteration
tāmāpataṃtīṃ saṃprekṣya gadāṃ mahiṣavāhanaḥ | gadāyāḥ pratighātārthaṃ jagajjvalanabhairavam
Translation
ఆ గద తనవైపు దూసుకొస్తున్నదని చూసి, మహిషవాహనుడైన యముడు దాని ప్రతిఘాతార్థం జగత్తు దగ్ధమయ్యేంత భయంకరమైన జ్వాలాతేజాన్ని సిద్ధం చేశాడు।
