तारक उवाच । राज्येन बुद्बुदाभेन स्त्रीभिरक्षैश्च पानकैः । मोहितो जन्म लब्ध्वात्र त्यजते पौरुषं नरः
tāraka uvāca | rājyena budbudābhena strībhirakṣaiśca pānakaiḥ | mohito janma labdhvātra tyajate pauruṣaṃ naraḥ
తారకుడు పలికెను—బుడగవలె క్షణభంగురమైన రాజ్యముచేత, స్త్రీలచేత, పాశక్రీడచేత, పానముచేత మోహితుడై, ఈ లోకంలో జన్మ పొందిన మనిషి కూడా తన పౌరుషధర్మాన్ని విడిచిపెడతాడు।
