पृथिव्यां सर्वतीर्थेषु स्नात्वा यत्फलमाप्यते । तन्महीसागरे प्रोक्तं कुमारस्य वचो यथा
pṛthivyāṃ sarvatīrtheṣu snātvā yatphalamāpyate | tanmahīsāgare proktaṃ kumārasya vaco yathā
భూమిపైని సమస్త తీర్థాలలో స్నానం చేయడం వల్ల లభించే ఫలం ఏదో, అదే మహీసాగరంలోనూ కలుగుతుందని—కుమారుడు (స్కందుడు) చెప్పిన వచనం ప్రకారం—ప్రకటించబడింది.
