vivāde ca samutpanne aparādhī ca yo mataḥ | jalahastaḥ sadā vācyo mahīsāgarasaṃgame
వివాదము కలిగినప్పుడు ఎవడు అపరాధి అని నిర్ణయింపబడునో, వాడిని మహీ-సముద్ర సంగమంలో ఎల్లప్పుడూ ‘జలహస్త’ (జలపరీక్ష) చేయించవలెను.
