ईश्वर उवाच । अजरामरता नास्ति नामरूपभृतोयतः । ममापि देहपातः स्यादवधिं कुरु जीविते
īśvara uvāca | ajarāmaratā nāsti nāmarūpabhṛtoyataḥ | mamāpi dehapātaḥ syādavadhiṃ kuru jīvite
ఈశ్వరుడు పలికెను—“నామరూపధారులైన దేహులకు అజరామరత్వం లేదు. నాకూ దేహపాతం కలుగుతుంది; కనుక నీ జీవితం కోసం ఒక నిర్దిష్ట అవధిని ఎంచుకొనుము.”
