दक्ष उवाच । ब्राह्मणोसि दधीचे त्वं किं करोमि तवात्र वै । दीक्षामहमहो प्राप्तः कर्तुं नायाति किंचन
dakṣa uvāca | brāhmaṇosi dadhīce tvaṃ kiṃ karomi tavātra vai | dīkṣāmahamaho prāptaḥ kartuṃ nāyāti kiṃcana
దక్షుడు అన్నాడు— “దధీచీ, నీవు బ్రాహ్మణుడవు; ఇక్కడ నేను నీకు ఏమి చేయగలను? అయ్యో, నేను దీక్షను స్వీకరించాను; ఇక నాకు మరేదీ చేయుట లేదు।”
