अगस्त्य उवाच । कथं दुर्गेति वै नाम देव्या जातंमुमासुत । कथं च काश्यां सा सेव्या समाचक्ष्वेति मामिह
agastya uvāca | kathaṃ durgeti vai nāma devyā jātaṃmumāsuta | kathaṃ ca kāśyāṃ sā sevyā samācakṣveti māmiha
అగస్త్యుడు పలికెను—హే ఉమాసుతా! దేవికి ‘దుర్గా’ అనే నామం ఎలా కలిగింది? అలాగే కాశీలో ఆమెను విధివిధానంగా ఎలా సేవించి పూజించాలి? ఇక్కడ నాకు వివరించుము.
