tadālāpāmṛtadhayau na me śabdagrahau priye | prāṇeśvari tadārabhya syātāṃ śabdāṃtaragrahau

Translation

ప్రియే—హే ప్రాణేశ్వరీ! ఆమె సంభాషణామృతధార నుండి నేను వంచితుడనైన నాటి నుంచే నా చెవులు నిజమైన శబ్దాన్ని గ్రహించట్లేదు; అప్పటినుండి అవి ఆమె స్వరశూన్యమైన ‘ఇతర శబ్దాల’నే పట్టుకుంటున్నాయి।
