इत्युक्त्वा देवदेवशस्तस्मिंल्लिंगे लयं ययौ । सविस्मयास्ततो विप्राः प्रातर्याता यथागतम्
ityuktvā devadevaśastasmiṃlliṃge layaṃ yayau | savismayāstato viprāḥ prātaryātā yathāgatam
ఇలా చెప్పి దేవదేవుడు ఆ లింగంలోనే లయమయ్యాడు. ఆపై విస్మయంతో ఉన్న బ్రాహ్మణులు ఉదయాన్నే వచ్చినట్లే తిరిగి వెళ్లారు।
