Transliteration

kṛtvā śrāddhaṃ vidhānena jyeṣṭhasthāne narottamaḥ | jyeṣṭhāṃ tṛptiṃ dadātyeva pitṛbhyo madhusarpiṣā

Translation

ఉత్తముడు జ్యేష్ఠస్థానంలో విధిపూర్వకంగా శ్రాద్ధం చేస్తే, పితృదేవతలకు తేనె-నెయ్యిలా ‘జ్యేష్ఠ తృప్తి’ని ప్రసాదిస్తాడు।
