यौवनं गत्वरं ज्ञात्वा जरां दृष्ट्वाश्रितां श्रुतिम् । चिन्तामवाप महती शिवशर्मा द्विजोत्तमः
yauvanaṃ gatvaraṃ jñātvā jarāṃ dṛṣṭvāśritāṃ śrutim | cintāmavāpa mahatī śivaśarmā dvijottamaḥ
యౌవనం క్షణభంగురమని తెలిసి, శ్రుతి బోధించినట్లుగా వృద్ధాప్యం చేరుతున్నదాన్ని చూసి, ద్విజోత్తముడు శివశర్మ మహా చింతలో మునిగాడు।
