अगस्तिरुवाच । मथुरायां द्विजः कश्चिदभूद्भूदेवसत्तमः । तस्य पुत्रो महातेजाः शिवशर्मेति विश्रुतः
agastiruvāca | mathurāyāṃ dvijaḥ kaścidabhūdbhūdevasattamaḥ | tasya putro mahātejāḥ śivaśarmeti viśrutaḥ
అగస్త్యుడు పలికెను—మథురలో ఒక ద్విజుడు ఉండెను; అతడు భూదేవ బ్రాహ్మణులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడు. అతని మహాతేజస్సు గల కుమారుడు ‘శివశర్మ’ అనే పేరుతో ప్రసిద్ధి పొందెను.
