अहोरात्रं त्र्यहोरात्रं रविर्वहति संततम् । अब्दमेकं च तस्येह जीवनावधिरुच्यते

Transliteration

ahorātraṃ tryahorātraṃ ravirvahati saṃtatam | abdamekaṃ ca tasyeha jīvanāvadhirucyate

Translation

‘రవి నాడి’ (దక్షిణ నాసాపుట ప్రవాహం) ఒక పగలు-రాత్రి లేదా మూడు పగలు-రాత్రులు విరామం లేకుండా సాగితే, ఈ లోకంలో అతని జీవనావధి కేవలం ఒక సంవత్సరమే అని చెప్పబడుతుంది.
