अनादाता च दाता च दांतः स्वाध्यायतत्परः । वैतानिकं च जुहुयादग्निहोत्रं यथाविधि

Transliteration

anādātā ca dātā ca dāṃtaḥ svādhyāyatatparaḥ | vaitānikaṃ ca juhuyādagnihotraṃ yathāvidhi

Translation

అవసరం లేని దానాన్ని స్వీకరించని వాడై, తానే దాతగా ఉండాలి; ఇంద్రియనిగ్రహంతో స్వాధ్యాయంలో నిమగ్నుడై ఉండాలి; అలాగే విధిపూర్వకంగా వైతానిక కర్మాలలో ఆహుతులు సమర్పించి, నియమానుసారం అగ్నిహోత్రం చేయాలి।
