सर्वान्केशान्समुद्धृत्य च्छेदयेदंगुलद्वयम् । एवमेव तु नारीणां शिरसो मुंडनं भवेत्
sarvānkeśānsamuddhṛtya cchedayedaṃguladvayam | evameva tu nārīṇāṃ śiraso muṃḍanaṃ bhavet
అన్ని జుట్టును సమీకరించి రెండు వేళ్ల పరిమాణం మాత్రమే కత్తిరించాలి. ఈ విధంగానే స్త్రీల శిరోముండనం (కేశచ్ఛేదం) చేయాలి॥
