ataḥ sulakṣaṇā yoṣā pariṇeyā vicakṣaṇaiḥ | lakṣaṇāni parīkṣyādau hitvā durlakṣaṇānyapi

కావున వివేకవంతులు మొదట లక్షణాలను పరీక్షించి, దుర్లక్షణాలు ఉన్నవారిని విడిచిపెట్టి, శుభలక్షణాలు కలిగిన స్త్రీని మాత్రమే వివాహం చేసుకోవాలి.
