हित्वा श्रुतेरध्ययनं योन्यत्पठितुमिच्छति । स दोग्ध्रीं धेनुमुत्सृज्य ग्रामक्रोडीं दुधुक्षति
hitvā śruteradhyayanaṃ yonyatpaṭhitumicchati | sa dogdhrīṃ dhenumutsṛjya grāmakroḍīṃ dudhukṣati
శ్రుతి అధ్యయనాన్ని విడిచి ఇతర గ్రంథాలు చదవదలచినవాడు, పాలు ఇచ్చే ఆవును వదిలి గ్రామపు పందిని పాలు దోచాలని కోరినవాడివంటివాడు।
