आमौलिं वाऽललाटंवाऽनासमूर्ध्वप्रमाणतः । ब्रह्मक्षत्रविशां दंडस्त्वगाढ्योनाग्निदूषितः

Transliteration

āmauliṃ vā'lalāṭaṃvā'nāsamūrdhvapramāṇataḥ | brahmakṣatraviśāṃ daṃḍastvagāḍhyonāgnidūṣitaḥ

Translation

దండపు పొడవు శిరోమౌళి వరకు గానీ, లలాటం వరకు గానీ, లేదా కనీసం ముక్కు పైభాగం వరకు గానీ ఉండాలి। బ్రాహ్మణ-క్షత్రియ-వైశ్యుల దండం దృఢంగా, స్థూలంగా ఉండి, అగ్నిదూషితమై (కాలిపోయి) ఉండకూడదు।
