स्कंद उवाच । सम्यगापृच्छि भवता काशीवासिसमाहितम् । कुंभसंभव विप्रर्षे दंडपाणि कथानकम्
skaṃda uvāca | samyagāpṛcchi bhavatā kāśīvāsisamāhitam | kuṃbhasaṃbhava viprarṣe daṃḍapāṇi kathānakam
స్కందుడు పలికెను—హే కుంభసంభవ విప్రశ్రేష్ఠా! కాశీవాసిగా కాశీలో లీనమైన దండపాణి కథను నీవు సమ్యకంగా ప్రశ్నించితివి.
