अज्ञानरागलोभाद्यैः पुंसां संमूढचेतसाम् । श्रद्धा न जायते धर्मे गंगायां च विशेषतः

ajñānarāgalobhādyaiḥ puṃsāṃ saṃmūḍhacetasām | śraddhā na jāyate dharme gaṃgāyāṃ ca viśeṣataḥ

అజ్ఞానం, రాగం, లోభం మొదలైనవాటితో మోహితమైన మనస్సు గలవారిలో ధర్మంపై శ్రద్ధ పుట్టదు—ప్రత్యేకంగా గంగాపై అయితే మరీ కాదు.
