इत्थं परिष्टुत्य स कार्तिकेयं नमो नमस्त्वित्यभिभाषमाणः । द्विस्त्रिःपरिक्रम्य पुरो विवेश स्थितो मुनीशोपविशेति चोक्तः
itthaṃ pariṣṭutya sa kārtikeyaṃ namo namastvityabhibhāṣamāṇaḥ | dvistriḥparikramya puro viveśa sthito munīśopaviśeti coktaḥ
ఇలా కార్తికేయుని స్తుతించి, “నమో నమస్తే” అని పలుకుతూ, అతడు రెండు మూడు సార్లు ప్రదక్షిణ చేసి, తరువాత ఆయన సమక్షంలో ప్రవేశించాడు. అక్కడ నిలిచిన అతనితో—“ఓ మునీశ్వరా, ఆసీనుడవు” అని చెప్పబడింది।
