Agastya
Tirtha: Kāśī-kṣetra (general frame)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Sage Agastya, hands folded, offers a luminous hymn to six-faced Skanda; devas hover in the sky, showering flowers; Skanda’s lotus-feet glow like moonlight, while Pārvatī’s heart-joy is symbolized as a radiant aura behind him.
True refuge is found at the lotus-feet of the divine, praised even by the gods; devotion (stuti) purifies and brings grace.
The broader context is Kāśī (Vārāṇasī) in the Kāśīkhaṇḍa, where the Mahatmya of worship and divine presence is celebrated.
No explicit ritual is prescribed here; the verse models stotra-bhakti—praise and salutations as a devotional practice.
