ये मुहूर्ताः क्षणा ये च या काष्ठा ये निमेषकाः । ऋते विष्णुस्मृतेर्यातास्तेषु मुष्टो यमेन सः
ye muhūrtāḥ kṣaṇā ye ca yā kāṣṭhā ye nimeṣakāḥ | ṛte viṣṇusmṛteryātāsteṣu muṣṭo yamena saḥ
విష్ణుస్మరణం లేకుండా గడిచిన ముహూర్తాలు, క్షణాలు, కాష్ఠాలు, నిమేషాలు—ఆ వృథా కాలాల కారణంగా ఆ మనిషి యమునిచే పట్టుబడును।
