pitaḥ soḍhuṃ na śaknomi tejastejonidheraham | tīvraṃ tasyāryaputrasya kāśyapasya mahātmanaḥ

ఓ తండ్రీ! తేజోనిధి అయిన ఆ మహాత్ముడగు కాశ్యపుని (సూర్యుని) తీవ్రమైన తేజస్సును నేను సహించలేకపోతున్నాను.
