अगस्त्य उवाच । अतिथित्वमवाप नेत्रयोर्बुधलोकः शिवशर्मणस्त्वथ । गणयोर्भगणस्य संकथां कथयित्रो रिति विष्णुचेतसोः
agastya uvāca | atithitvamavāpa netrayorbudhalokaḥ śivaśarmaṇastvatha | gaṇayorbhagaṇasya saṃkathāṃ kathayitro riti viṣṇucetasoḥ
అగస్త్యుడు పలికెను—అనంతరం బుధలోకాన్ని పొందిన శివశర్మ ఆ ఇద్దరు గణులను అతిథులుగా సత్కరించాడు; విష్ణునందే స్థిరచిత్తులైన వారు ఆ నక్షత్రగణకథను వివరించారు।
